Santa Rosa Beach West 30A and North Santa Rosa Beach

Santa Rosa Beach is the primary mailing address for most towns within 30A and more or less defines the middle-to-west side of 30A. However, us locals tend to think of Santa Rosa Beach as the west end of 30A and the area north of Highway 98 and on the Choctawhatchee Bay where there is more primary residents. Santa Rosa Beach is a fast growing area both on and off the beach. The commercial amenities are quickly filling in the small amount of available commercial land on Highway 98, and the beach communities are almost built out. However, this area will always seem more rustic and rural because the State of Florida owns the vast majority of the land and owns it as state parks and water management areas. There are several areas that fall within this region: Dune Allen Beach, Cypress Dunes, Gulf Place, Blue Mountain Beach, Draper Lake, Pointe Washington, and even places like Grayton Beach and Seaside have Santa Rosa Beach mailing addresses.
