Miramar Beach and Sandestin
Miramar Beach and the Sandestin Community and resort is situated between Destin on the West and the 30A communities on the East. Miramar Beach is a scenic enclave of vacation homes, condo’s and townhouses that lead down to “old, scenic 98”, which has excellent walking paths and a number of excellent restaurants right on the beach. The Sandestin community is highly unique because it spans from the beaches at the gulf across Hwy 98 and back to the Choctawhatchee Bay. Sandestin includes condo’s, townhouses, gated communities, world-class shopping in the Sandestin Outlets and Grande Boulevard and the unique entertainment center of Baytowne Wharf & Marina on the bayside of Sandestin. This area has some of the finest restaurants in the area including Emeril’s, Vintij, Bayou Bistro, and Grand Marlin. There are many permanent residents within Sandestin who enjoy this golf cart lifestyle accessing the beach, bay, and golf courses that backs up to the Sacred Heart Hospital and is almost self-contained with it’s grocery stores such as Publix and many shops and restaurants.
